Twelve years ago, I made a change in my life. Although I had spent the first forty years of my life without much focus on physical exercise, I decided to do the 'impossible' (for me): run a 5k without stopping. It was daunting, as I could not even run a hundred yards without gasping for breath. After training for a few months, I completed that goal; little did I know that it was just the beginning.
My journey went from there to a full marathon and, soon after, to triathlons, including a full IronMan. At this point, I realized the importance of strength training. Although I could not even come close to being able to do ONE chin-up, I decided on a goal to do five chin-ups by my fiftieth birthday. The passion for strength training took hold quickly. Although it took an extra month to accomplish, I did reach and even surpass it soon after.
My excitement for training has only grown since then, and I soon realized how much I would love to help others find their healthy and strong self. I received my Personal Trainer Certification in May 2022. I desire to help clients reach their personal goals, no matter what they are, while living their best and healthiest life.
